Dianne Wilkinson - “I’ll Keep Trustin On”

Last month you heard about the song "God Is" that Ms. Dianne wrote after hearing a sermon from the great Adrian Rogers. This month, you will hear about "I'll Keep Trustin On". Dianne states, "Every time I hear this song it reminds me of my dear friend Roger Bennett (Legacy 5 and Cathedrals piano player) and the struggles he endured for so many years before he went home and how he faced those struggles."

As with many songs written, the words come during hard times or after someone you love goes through a hard time. "I'll Keep Trustin On" is one of those songs that lets you know that no matter how bad the situation is, you can keep trusting in a God that knows who you are and knows your pain. This song also helps us to have endurance, no matter how bad it gets. We need to continue to trust God's wisdom and his plan and purpose in our life. It contrasts that with the suffering that Christ bore before having to endure the terrible pain and agony of the cross. Even though Christ prayed that bitter cup would pass, He knew He had to face it, knowing that His heavenly Father would turn His back on the sin that Christ bore for us. This example gives us the strength to go through the many different struggles of life. "Keep Trustin' On!"
