Christlike, an Oklahoma-based group with a fresh new sound and a great live band, has released its first single on the Family Music Group. The song, "Walkin' This Road With Jesus," was written by John Darin Rowsey, Kayla Morrison and Michael Hodges and is from the group's debut CD, Journey, on the FMG label. DJs and Southern Gospel fans nationwide are enjoying this one and it is being added to playlists all over the country.
FMG president Les Butler, producer of the project, said, "This is an exciting group of talented musicians. They have it all - vocal and instrumental talent and a deep commitment to let God use them in a special way. I'm excited for them and expecting great things in their future."
The group made its debut appearance on the Monday afternoon Artist Showcase at this year's National Quartet Convention. "This was an exciting time for us," said group member Weylin Bohannan.
Christlike has previously had three Top 80 songs and one Top 40 and they have appeared on national television on the Gospel Country Network with Pastor Jimmy Snow. The group signed with Family Music Group in 2003.
