Amazed - Everything I Am

Produced by Eddie Crook
Recorded at Family Room Studio – Goodlettsville, TN and Hilltop Studios – Nashville, TN
Label – Morning Star Records – Eddie Crook Company

One of the hardest sells in Southern Gospel Music is the duet. Add to that a female duet and it gets even tougher.  Producer Eddie Crook saw the potential in these two girls and came up with a nice recording. The one thing that sometimes bothers me about duets is when they add the third part on their recordings, effectively making them a trio. I like the fact that this duet recorded themselves as you hear them in concert, just two voices.

The song selection is excellent as they chose songs that would lend to the two part harmony.  The CD opens with one of those get-up-and-go-songs, "Genuine Experience. " The second song grabs you as "God Is" describes how God is everything we need. I like the way they added the chorus of the old classic "God Is God" for the bridge.

I love the practical message in "One Stone At A Time". So many times we expect God to move that mountain in from of us, when He’s actually moving it, one stone at a time. "Come See A Man" is a nice story song song. One of my favorites on the CD is "This Rock Don’t Roll". This cut along with "Genuine Experience" would be strong radio release possibilities.

Other nice songs include "Everything I Am", "He Keeps The Son Shining", "Another Lifting Up", "The Tomb Was Empty At Jerusalem", and "Perfect Love"

This is an above average CD and you won’t go wrong getting this one.

I came across this page and was excited to read about Amazed CD.
I am the writer of "One stone At A Time."
I'm thankful that many are blessed by the message that God gave me. I have been blessed also by meeting such nice girls and by being a part of this. They have done a wonderful Job.
