WJFJ Hosts “Singing For The Soldiers”

On Saturday, November 8th, WJFJ Radio hosted the "Singing for the Soldiers" at the Saluda Elementary School, Saluda, NC, featuring:the Reggie Saddler Family, Jimmy Justice Familys and the Green River Boys. WJFJ's James Metcalf and Wendy Auman served as MC'S for the event. Over 1100 items were collected at the event to send to our troops overseas, as well as $1200 collected for shipping costs and to collect items.

Most importantly a soul was saved during brother Reggies invitation! This is the third such event WJFJ has hosted in Polk County in 2008, collecting over 3,000 pounds and shipping over 1,000 Bibles to our hero's in the sand. Over 250 gospel cds were also collected by WJFJ from various record companies and artists to minister to our troops through song.

James & WJFJ Rock!!! The ministry of the radio station and the support they have shown our military men and women through the "Singing for Soldiers" events has blessed so many people. Thank you for all your efforts to help make our soldiers feel a bit of our love while they are fighting for our God-given freedoms. May God bless you for your passion of Christ!
