Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver will have a song sitting in the Top 5 on the Singing News Top 80 Chart. Shortly after Crossroads Entertainment released “Help Is On The Way” to Southern Gospel radio stations nationwide, the song made it’s debut on The Singing News Top 80 Chart at #41 in the May issue. Since then the song has moved up the Chart and will sit at the #4 position for the month of August.
While the group’s current release marks their first Top 5 single on Southern Gospel radio, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver has enjoyed success on secular radio throughout the past few decades. The group has been named Vocal Group of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association for the past seven years. Additionally, the group has also received the IBMA’s Gospel Performance of the Year for the past three years. Lawson is recognized as one of the Bluegrass music’s most celebrated musicians, having released nearly 40 recordings to date.
