* Talley Trio - "Jesus Saves"
Penned by Daryl Williams, this is a moving ballad that has a great message. The arrangement is neat going from the solo by Debra to the duet with Debra and Roger, and then on to full harmony with Lauren. The song moves well, and has some drive to it, so it would be great for rush hour playing. I think you’ll see this song getting some chart action. Crossroads Airplay Sampler - October 2003 - cut # 3
* Southern Sound - "Some Day"
Here’s some good ole quartet close harmony singing. The track has a little bluesy sound to it, mixed with a little steel guitar. This cut is very laid back and will fit into just about any part of your programming. There’s a nice very low Bass ending on the end. Zion Music Group - Compilation # 32 - cut # 2
* The Lasters - "I Made It Home"
Here’s my "sleeper of the week". No, I didn’t make a mistake, this is NOT the Lesters, but the Lasters, a Father/Daughter team that has some very good music. The message is comforting, and the recitation very good. Give your listeners a treat and let them hear this very good cut by a group making a name for themselves in the industry. DJ Man Hit Singles - Volume VIII - cut # 4
* Florida Boys - "It’s Still True"
This is sure to be another hit for the Florida Boys. It’s upbeat and great for drive time getting your audience going in the morning, and helping them wind down in the evening. After just really good singing, the guys split in to all different parts and make it really interesting. This one is sure to see some chart action. Airplay Radio Promotions - August 2003 - cut # 5
