Radio Picks 06/11/03

* The Anchormen - "Everyday Will Be Sunday"

This cut is like stepping back in time. This old Blackwood Brothers song is filled with energy. You won’t go wrong playing this at drive time. It’s a real fun song for your listeners to enjoy, and the two octive Bass ending is great. - DJMan Super Single

* LordSong - "While I Wait"

After you have played twenty quartets, and you are looking for something a little more progressive, give this tune a spin. The track is great with banjos and other strings, yet vocally the sound is very solid. The message is one of hope while we are waiting for our trip to Heaven. - Daywind Radio Disc - Volume # 49 - cut # 1

* The Hoppers - "I’m Saved"

When it’s time to slow the pace down just a little, this dynamic song will give your audience some real "blessing" time. Dean Hopper does a fantastic job on the feature. The track has a little touch of jazz to it, but that just makes the total sound very interesting. This cut should see some good chart action. - Spring Hill Southern Compilation - Volume # 2 - 2003

* Satisfied - "Satisfied"

Here’s my "sleeper of the week". This song is just plain pretty. The harmonies are very tight. Give your listeners a treat by playing this not so well known group. It is certainly worthy of radio airplay. - Eddie Crook Company - Volume # 0503 - cut # 10
