Radio Picks 2/17/03

The Crabb Family -"The Walk"

Somehow I received this single late, because the add date was December 27, 2002, but once I got this single I knew that it was destined to be a radio hit. This driving Ballad has a strong but lively "country" track to it. It moves pretty fast to be a ballad, but the story content makes it a ballad as far as I am concerned. This is a good one and will probably be a Number 1 hit. If you don’t have this single, contact Rhonda or Theresa and tell them you HAVE to have it. Daywind - Radio Single - December 2002

The Crossmen - "In The Fold"

When it’s time to slow the pace down a little, this is not only a beautiful song musically, but the message is so uplifting. These guys haven’t had a radio cut out in a long time, but the wait was well worth it. You will get requests for this one. Zion Music Group - Compilation # 30 - cut # 2

Integrity Quartet - "Our God Is Leading The Way"

If this first radio release is any indication of the kind of music that the Integrity Quartet is going to be putting out, then they will be making some big waves in SGM. The harmonies are ever so tight. This cut would be great for drive time. Sonrise Christian Voices - February 2003 - cut # 4

The Oak Ridge Boys - "The First Step To Heaven"

This medium tempo song has a great Salvation message to it. Duane Allen sings some impressive Lead on the verses, while Richard Sterban reaches down for some mighty low notes on the chorus. This cut certainly has the old Southern Gospel feel that the Oaks were so well known for. Spring Hill Radio Compilation - Volume # 1 2003 - cut # 3

In the Fold by the Crossmen is really once of the prettiest songs to come out in awhile. I suspect the song will do very well for the group.

The Crossmen are one of the most under-rated quartets out there. I hope this great song (In the Fold) opens many doors for them. Their ministry has sure blessed me! Hope this song will bless many others.
