Holiday Well Wishes from Three Bridges

It's hard to believe that another holiday season is upon us but believe it and accept it we must. So much has happened in my life since the Thanksgiving and Christmas season of 2006 and I must say that I could not be happier with the blessings God has so bountifully heaped upon me. Most of you reading this newsletter know that I have been singing the top part for Three Bridges since the first of June -- what a blessing it has been to become a part of this great ministry team. God has further blessed us with the vocal talents and dynamic personality of Scott Johnson to fill the lead vocalist position. Add to that the big baritone voice, leadership and management skills of Elliott McCoy and you have the exciting new sound and personnel of the ministry team of Three Bridges! I'm not at liberty to divulge all of the plans and directions on the horizon for Three Bridges at this juncture, but I assure you that we'll keep you apprised of all news tidbits and developments as soon as they are confirmed and make them available to our fans.

NQC 2007 was filled with many great moments and memories, along with some disappointments. We were, obviously, disappointed with our removal from the main stage. We were approached by many fans who likewise expressed dissatisfaction upon learning such news. To those who didn't address this issue with us, we were advised that the personnel changes caused concerns about the group’s presentation. We remain optimistic, however, about our involvement in the 2008 convention and we look forward to seeing you there! God has blessed and He just keeps on blessing!

Thanks to SoGospelNews for keeping you, our fans, informed of all the changes through their web site and media exposure. Thanks to Paul Heil for his Sunday, October 14 Gospel Greats program featuring Three Bridges. We have received scores of phone calls and e-mails applauding this program. Paul remains a consummate professional with his tasteful programming and ministry presentations. We'd like to add our applause to Paul and Sheila for their standard of excellence over the years!

As we enter the holiday season, we have much to be thankful for -- here are a few. We are thankful to our faithful friends and supporters who have lifted our spirits with their words of encouragement and prayers over the last few months. We give many thanks to our families for their love and support in both the good times and the bad. We thank our industry friends who have called with their words of encouragement, prayers and support. Finally, we give all of our thanks to our Savior and King that He would consider us worthy recipients of his Grace, Mercy and salvation. We are humbled that He would allow us to represent Him as ambassadors to the Kingdom of Heaven.

On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.

I have had the great pleasure of hearing the new Three Bridges and was pleasantly surprised to hear they have not lost their edge nor their unique sound. What group has not had a personel change? This group of men are definetly on the right track and going full steam ahead. Great job guys! Can't wait till the new cd comes out!

I am truly sorry that you were removed from the main stage at the NQC. Something is going wrong at this convention, I some of my friends that were dissapointed with the way things were handled. They say the music was great but it is getting to be too expensive for retired people on fixed incomes to attend/. I pray that your group continues to do well. God bless all of you and a special for your supportive families. Have the best of the Holiday season and especially CHRISTMAS.
