King’s Heralds

I know I know, better late than never..right? Well as it turns out the big move has happened. For the past three weeks all the guys have been busy getting their households packed and ready as well as the office.

It's hard to say how one accumulates so much "stuff" both at the house and the office. It takes so much so much time to sort through everything. Well after everything was packed we rented a truck trailer from the fine folks at ABF. Here is the kicker. We packed an office and two and a half households on the trailer ourselves...yes I said ourselves. It just so happened that the four days it took to pack were some of the hottest days on record in Southern California. One day it topped out at 113. Needless to say we were sunburned and popping motrine every hour or so.

After everything was packed, the trailer, with all the guys earthly belongings headed to Tennessee. After 3 full days of driving, Jeff finally arrived back home in Nashville with the Quartets rig. Joel had driven as well but had stopped off in Texas to pick up a few items. Don flew in the day before the trailer arrived and the unpacking was to begin and Russell was in California getting married. So as you can see we have been busy but we are proud to be moved and call Portland, Tennessee our new headquarters.

Just in case you are wondering, it took about 4 hours to get the trailer unloaded!! makes me tired just thinking about it all.

Please be sure to visit our booth at the NQC. We'd love to meet you. Next month we hit the old concert trail again so keep your eyes on our schedule. You can do this by logging onto http://www.theheralds.org. We look forward to seeing you down the road.
