Poca, WV (March 2, 2010) The Goodwins of Poca, WV have recently released their latest single "Heart Of The King" to radio stations nationwide. This song is yet another original song from lead singer / songwriter, Martha Goodwin Drake. It was released last month on Pathlight Promotions Compilation CD for Radio Volume 2010-02 & is being promoted by Pathlight Promotions & Media Group as well. Despite it's recent release, this beautiful song is already receiving a large amount of airplay.
The Goodwins previous radio single, entitled "Jesus Died Like A Man", debuted at #1 & remained there for four weeks on the Gospel Music Times Top 40 in June, 2009. It is also currently #55 on The Christian Voice Magazine's Top 100 for March 2010. Other original singles from The Goodwins include"24/7", Revival In The Air, The Walk, Amen Corner & That's My Boy (later recorded by The Wilburns & more recently Cheryl Edelmann.).
