Wings of Grace - “Forever His”

2002/ACA Records

From Greensboro, North Carolina comes a new female trio called Wings of Grace.  Combining the sounds of the Perry Sisters and the Ruppes, mother, Cheryl Hall, and daughters, Tara Hart and Lindy Kirkman, along with producer Tim Greene, have released a good recording with some really good songs.

These ladies have a lot in their favor.  They sing well, they have some really good original material and I believe they have the grit it takes to make it in this industry.  Now, is this the recording that will put them in the limelight?  In a word, no.  They still need some work in getting their vocals down, as in several places the vocals are not quite together and they lack the power they need to really push the higher notes.  But, like I said, I believe they have what it takes and will eventually make a name for themselves.

On this recording they have some great original material written by family friend, Janice Stillman.  Such songs as the title song, ”FOREVER HIS“, along with ”ANGELS“, ”HE LOVES ME“ and ”I GO RUNNING TO MY FATHER“ are definite highlights.  Even the daughters wrote a couple of songs.  ”LEAD ME TO THE ROCK“ (I love this song!) and ”WHEN PRAYERS GO UP“ were written by Tara and Lindy respectively.  I also enjoy their version of the old Nelons classic from the mid-80’s called, ”I’M GONNA KEEP WALKING.”

Check them out on the web: http://www.wings-of-grace.com and keep your eyes and ears open for them in the future.  When you see them headlining a major concert near you, remember you heard about them here first!

I have seen this trio in person recently at a concert with the Harvesters Quartet, and let me say, they are wonderful! You can really tell in their singing that they love the Lord and that they sing from their heart. They also have beautiful harmony and a wonderful testimony. I hope to hear more about this trio in the near future! God Bless!

I remember seeing this trio at this years singing on the mountain with the Greenes. They are really a great up and coming trio. I hope to hear more about them and their music in the near future.

This group is outstanding. I have never heard such wonderful harmony in a female trio. They are truely blessded by God. I have heard them sing several times before. They live by what they sing. They are annointed of God when they sing as well. I hope that they continue in the ministry that God has placed them. I would love to hear more about them in the VERY near future.

May God Bless You,

Sarah
