Hello again...,
We trust that everyone will have a safe and blessed July 4th. It's hard to believe that we are in the midst of summer already. Where has 2008 gone? They say time flies when you are having fun. Speaking of fun. We were blessed to have been invited to participate in the barbarshop harmony society convention held in Nashville. They asked us to sing a 15 minute segment during the gospel portion of their convention. We didn't realize that we had so many friends who were barbarshoppers!! Several folks come up to us and said they had been listening to quartet for years. What a treat to listen to those folks sing!! I have never heard anything quite like it! Talk about a great time.

We just finished a 4 day run to Texas .It's always good to go to Texas. If any of you have followed the history of The King's Heralds, you know that the quartet started there in 1927. We always see special friends when we go that part of the world. On this trip it was good to see our former first tenor John Ramsey. John sang with the group from 1971-1982. We the opportunity to sing with him during our concert on a couple of songs. He sounds better than ever and is always such an encourager.

O.K last month we told you that were going on a cruise March 22-29, 2009. We thought that we would tell you just a bit more about it, in hopes that you will go to our website http://www.theheralds.org and look at the cruise brouchure that we will have posted should you want further details. We will be cruising to the Eastern Caribbean aboard the Crown Princess. From what we understand this particular ship is the crown jewell of the princess fleet. We will sail from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. some of the ports of call will be St. Martin, St, Thomas and Grand turk as well as others. If you enjoy good food and good singing this will be the trip of a lifetime. We will tell you that the cabins seem to be going fast. The last time there was a cruise of this nature there were several folks that couldn't get cabins because they waited to long. We would recommed that if you think you may want to go,go ahead and get your deposite in asap!! Just tell 'em that the King's Heralds sent you!

Well I guess that all for now. Keep us in your prayers as we travel. Also pray that God will give us souls for our labor. Untill next time we'll catch ya down the road.
