One of my most favorite times is when we are in the middle of a red hot revival at our home church. I heard someone say that singing, traveling, and ministering is great but you can�t live on candy. It is so important that ministers are fed from the word and the pulpit on a regular basis themselves. If we are not recharged and renewed in the Lord ourselves, how can we possibly expect to hand out anything spiritual when we go out in the field to work.

One thing that has really fired me up has been the awesome preaching of the word. We have been enjoying Brother David McKemy from Detroit, MI for the past couple of weeks. Brother David has been on the road with The McGruders in the past and also worked some recording sessions around Nashtown. He is a phenomenal harmonica player, but can he preach? Oh my goodness Yes!

We have a mini tour planned for this month and it begins Thursday August 7, 4 PM to 6 PM CT. where we will be doing a live listening party at Solid Gospel. If you can get Solid Gospel, tune us in.

From there we will travel to Dayton OH on Friday, Elkhart IN, for two concerts on Saturday and Sunday, and then Indianapolis, IN on Sunday night. We will stop in Nashville on Monday before heading home. If you are in these areas and would like to come out, check our website for more information.

We are beginning to gear up for NQC. We are all looking forward to a wonderful week and seeing all our friends that we have made over the past couple of years. We have a different booth this year I think the number is 691 facing the food court. Ah! The FOOD court!
