As many of you know, I have been attending school for several years. I have a counseling practice in addition to my responsibilities with Zion Music Group. I have just graduated with my Doctorate in Psychology. My husband celebrated this milestone with a fabulous reception in my honor, inviting many of our friends and family. I want to take a moment and share some of those memories with you.
I extend thanks to my family and friends for their enduring support, prayers and encouragement through the years. My parents are such an inspiration to me. They have huge hearts and their hands are always reaching out to others. I have learned more from them about the heart of counseling than I ever learned from a textbook. They genuinely care about people and I am thankful for their example.
My husband is my rock. He believes in me and has supported my educational path from day one. He has shared me with textbooks, dissertations and studying and has never once complained. He is a wonderful man and I am at my best when he is by my side!!
God has blessed me beyond measure! His mercy amazes me! He took a young woman whose life, hope and future was shattered many years ago by loss and found a way to use that pain to bring healing to others. I didn’t see a future but God had a plan! I am forever grateful!
In studio news, The Pfiefers were recently in Oak Valley Studio recording tracks for their new project! Steve Mauldin is producing this project and it sounds like they have selected excellent material!!
Kevin McManus is producing a new project for Christie Ballestero and just recorded tracks for The Gardners. Mike Carlen is scheduled to begin a new project as well.
