Thanks for your interest in what's going on with JP Miller Ministries! I've been involved in Southern Gospel Music for five years now and it's been quite a journey.

I started at the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, TN. There I worked in the gift shop and eventually went into planning events that would benefit the association. I was employed there until I took a position as a houseparent at the Smoky Mountain Children's Home a year and a half later. Formerly known as the Church of God Home for Children, this ministry is one I hold very dear to my heart. Although I am no longer employed there, I am heavily involved with the organization and often travel with children from the home singing at concerts to raise money to benefit the needs of the Smoky Mountain Children's Home.

After my days at the Children's Home I began to host a Gospel Music talk show with Gaither Homecoming Artist Lou Wills Hildreth. Lou and I appear weekly on the Gospel Music Television Network. We interview guests to learn behind the scenes life stories and take an in depth look at artists from the gospel music community. Our guests have included, Bill Gaither, The Crabb Family, Dottie Rambo, The Inspirations, Integrity Quartet and several others. Appearing on television gave me the opportunity to begin singing and record my first solo project. A year later I am blessed to report that I am traveling full time singing gospel music. God has truly given me the desires of my heart.

Recently I was engaged to Tyanne Rodgers, who works at the Smoky Mountain Children's Home. I popped the question on top of the Empire State Building while on a mission trip with the children's home (how romantic!). We have just returned from a tour that benefits the children's home. Michael English, The Freemans, Mercy's Mark, Jonathan Martin, Judy Martin-Hess, Karen Peck and New River, Sammy Hall and a new Bluegrass group Harvest appeared on the tour. Watch out for Harvest. They are a great bunch of guys who are talented and love the Lord. We raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Smoky Mountain Children's Home.

Things are going great. I am overwhelmed by God's blessings. My schedule is packed for the rest of the year, but we are booking for 2005. Contact us at www.jpmiller.tv or by calling 865-654-7878.

Thanks for reading and I will see you next month!
