NQC 2004 was SO much fun! What a delight it was to see our so many friends in one place and to make so many new friends!
I have included a picture with some of our artists at the Zion Booth Tuesday night! Traditionally, Tuesday night all of the Zion staff and artists wear our crisp jean Zion shirts. Many of artists managed to remember to do so....however, my husband and I FORGOT! So, we were reprimanded by our artists the entire evening. Although it was quite embarrassing, we did have a decent excuse! When we packed for NQC, we actually packed for two weeks instead of one week, because we went directly from Louisville, KY to another conference for 9 days. Do you have any idea how much luggage it took for me to pack for 2 weeks?!
The Zion Showcase on Friday was an incredible! What an awesome group of artists we represent! I am so thankful that I can say without a doubt that each of the groups on our labels represent God with sincere hearts! You can see the difference when they are singing and more importantly you can feel the difference as they minister!
I was also blessed to have my sister, Shawn Pope assist us the week of NQC! Teresa Freeman, our National Director of Promotions, was unable to go to NQC due to a family emergency. Shawn came to our rescue and represented us well!
NewLife Quartet out of Purvis, MS has changed their name to Strong River! Please make a note of this change. Their previous name caused some confusion in their promotion so a name change was the logical solution. It is the same quartet, same faces, same voices, same great harmony... but a new name!!
Following NQC, my husband and I made our way to Salt Lake City for the UPCI General Conference. Kevin had the contract for sound, lights and video for this event in the Delta Center. It was a wonderful week!
If you have questions regarding recording a project or a video, feel free to email me directly at ! Also check our websites for additional information regarding our labels and studio: http://www.oakvalleystudio.com and http://www.zionmusic.com.
Until next month, keep a song in your heart!
