Today I would like to talk about the way to attack tones, when you are singing. There are some tones that need to be attacked gently in songs. We have all sung songs where we need to attack tones in a lighter manner than usual.
Proper breathing is the main foundation for all quality sound production from the human voice. Inhalation is important as I have explained before, however, exhalation is what makes the actual sound ,as the exhaled air passes over the vocal cords

All breathing is natural, but when you sing you need to take advantage of the most natural, although somewhat less obvious, parts of breathing that enhance your ease of singing, tone quality, and duration of time that you can sing without wearing out
What is CORRECT POSTURE for singing WHEN YOU ARE SEATED? I know that this will not affect a lot of you during performances. However, it could when you are rehearsing for a choir number, depending on your director’s methods during rehearsal
I recommend to practice singing a song and your warmups at least once or twice a week in front of a mirror and watch your posture closely to analyze how you feel when you are doing it correctly and to duplicate that feeling in your body when you are singing on stage
