Psalm 101….the wait is over!
After many unexpected delays, the long awaited new project from Psalm 101 is completed. The CD will be available December 26th, 2006!Bill and Angela Fulkerson, along with co-producer Donna Beauvais, started this project back in March of 2006. The week they were scheduled to be in Nashville to finish recording vocals was the same week the tornado swept thru the Nashville area. Then, there were some scheduling delays along the way. The final touches of the recording process were completed back in July. On August 15th, Bill fell 22 feet from a roof top face down onto concrete and suffered several broken bones. He spent 2 months in a wheelchair but God has miraculously given him a full recovery. The graphics and photo sessions were the last to be completed just recently in Novemeber.
"We thought this day would never come," says Angela Fulkerson of Psalm 101. "It has been a very long and trying process but it was Worth The Wait! We sent our first single to radio in Novemeber and we are already getting great response from folks hearing the song and being blessed. This CD is our first attempt at producing and we are very pleased how it all turned out. There is a lot of blood, sweat and tears poured into every aspect of this recording and we are thankful for God's faithfulness!"
Worth The Wait is packed full of talented people. Musicians include: Gordon Mote, Jason Webb, Kelly Back, Bill Fulkerson, Scott Sanders, Duncan Mullins, Aubrey Haney, Bryan Sutton, Scott Williamson & "Jelly Roll" Johnson. Background singers: Chip Davis, Angie Prim & Hope's Call. There are eleven great songs from writers such as: Rebecca Peck, Russ Taff, Ashley Cleveland, Kenny Hinson, Joe Beck, Carl Cartee, Angela Fulkerson, Charmaine Massey & Donna Beauvais.
The first single, "He Prays For Me" is a fun encouraging song written by Charmaine Massey, Angela Fulkerson and Donna Beauvais.

The Imperials Wrap Up Successful Christmas Tour

“We want to present a Christmas event that will be enjoyable for the whole family,” says Jeremie Hudson, tenor for The Imperials. “Some of the songs are Christmas hymns like “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” “Silent Night,” and “O Holy Night”; others are ‘secular’ favorites like “Sleigh Ride” and “White Christmas”; and we even have a children’s section where the kids in the audience come on stage songs with us like “Jingle Bells” and “Away In A Manger.”
This year’s tour began in Columbia, Tennessee and then had stops in Brownsburg, Indiana, and the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. After a couple of ministry days at the Tennessee Prison for Women in Nashville, Tennessee the tour moved to Texas with stops in Cleburne and Brownwood. The final leg of the tour found the group in Athens, Tennessee, Cleveland, Tennessee, Nashville, Tennessee, Chesapeake, Virginia, and Waynesboro, Virginia. The tour culminated with a trip to Washington DC for a scheduled performance on the Ellipse of the White House at the national Pageant of Peace.
One of the highlights of this year’s tour was what has become an annual ministry stop at the Tennessee Prison for Women for their Christmas party.
“We sang for about 750 inmates in three different events over two days,” says Shannon Smith, lead singer for The Imperials. “We were also able to sing for the women in solitary confinement as well as the new inmates. We were able to make a gospel presentation, and we saw at least 150 women commit their lives to Christ and were able to pray with several others and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.”
Overall, the tour saw over 200 people pray to receive Christ. All of the guys agreed that this is what made the tour a resounding success!
Be sure and listen for The Imperials’ first single in over five years at Southern Gospel and Inspirational radio all across the country. “Arise My Love” can be found on the group’s new self-titled release.

Gary Bellew’s (Brothers Forever) Grandfather Passes Away
Gary Bellew's (Brothers Forever) grandfather passed away on Monday, December 15, 2006. Please keep Gary and his family in your prayers. Gary's grandfather, Paul Pipkin, was a very influential minister in the Assemblies of God. Below is a neat story about his life:"Paul Pipkin was 86 years old. God called him to preach when he was 16 years old, and so he did. He and and his wife, Violet Pipkin, were Assemblies of God missionaries for 50 years. They worked in China for a year and a half until they had to evacuate to the Philippines at the end of 1948. Just before they had to leave China, Paul and his Chinese interpreter flew into cities surrounded by the communist army and held final evangelistic meetings.
In the Philippines, they worked with the Far East Broadcasting Co. for two terms. They had numerous broadcasts, as well as directing the pre-tuned radio department for a term. They also were asked to help in Japan for a year and later two years in Taiwan. They then returned to the Philippines for two more terms. During that time, Paul was the Director for the International Correspondence Institute (now Global University) in the Philippines. Later, they returned to the United States and served as the Director of Development for the International Correspondence Institute (ICI).
The last years of their missionary career they took 36 ICI courses and made them into radio scripts and then produced English language radio programs which were then broadcast by shortwave by the Far East Broadcasting Co. Those English scripts were then translated into Mandarin, and a Chinese couple made the radio programs. Global University puts both the English and Mandarin broadcasts on the internet.
Paul has loved the Lord since he was 16 years old, and he has been a faithful servant all these years. Even in these last few years, even when he had such a difficult time expressing himself, he was always quick to thank and praise the Lord out loud, often singing. He often relied on his daughter to finish his prayers when the words just wouldn't come."

“The bottom line of Gospel music is that it changes lives and touches people,” mentioned McCray Dove of the Dove Brothers Quartet.
The Dove Brothers have seen this happen time and time again in concerts this year with "One More Miracle," their current radio release. In just two months on the Singing News Top 80 chart, "One More Miracle" (written by Sandy Knight) has risen to #24 on the upcoming January 2007 edition of the chart, climbing 27 spots in the second month alone. In an interview with SG Show Prep’s Chuck Peters at the 2006 National Quartet Convention, McCray explained that the song was definitely having an impact. He went on to state that the group had received letters, emails and phone calls from people wanting to hear the song and sharing with them how it has helped them to deal with cancer, other sicknesses, family problems, and similar ordeals.
The Dove Brothers Quartet looks for more lives to be changed and uplifted during their 2007 I Can Pray Tour. Doubtless, "One More Miracle" will be featured along with new material from the Shout It Out and Never the Same projects – two critically acclaimed recordings released by the popular quartet earlier this year.
