Klaudt Indian Memorial Foundation to Launch Television Program

The Klaudt Family has always been noted for their creative and innovative thinking when it comes to a formatted musical presentation of the Gospel Message of Christ. The theme of the program comes from Colossians 3: 1 (a) and 16 (b) that says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”.
It is a concern of the Foundation that churches are now splitting because of styles and types of church music. Although the Klaudt Family loves Southern Gospel Music, they have never closed their hearts and minds to how different genres format their songs of praise to their Lord. When the Klaudts came south in the late forties, they were often referred to as the Salvation Army of Gospel Singing because of the brass instruments that were used during their concerts and church services.
The Foundation is now assembling Beta Tapes and DVDs of different genres to incorporate within the program. There will be a minimal amount of talk and the talk that does happen will emphasis the different ministries of involvement and encouragement within the Body of Christ. i.e. salvation, bible study, hospital and nursing home visitation, retiree involvement, breast cancer and disease awareness, blood drives, youth ministries, Native American concerns, etc. It will also be a vehicle to mature the recipients of their scholarship programs.
Guest appearances will be handpicked to emphasis the different ministries and styles of church music and will encourage listeners to involve themselves in a local church body. The central theme of the program will always be Christ centered and eternal value is of up most importance.
The Foundation does not have all the answers and are sponges of constructive input. They are now assembling a strong advisory board to keep the program on track. Please feel free to call: 770.513.8735, email at: , or view http://www.klaudtmemorial.com More specific information will follow.

Jerry Skaggs, Sr. Released From Hospital

"Dad is home, Praise the Lord! He has a long road on his recovery. They expect up to three months before he is able to get around like he once did. The big thing that we are concerned about is his eyesight. Most of you know he has been legally blind for the past couple years, seeing out of his left eye, tunnel vision only. Now, through all this that his body has gone through, he is completely blind. There have been several occasions that he has seen images, so our request is that you pray for his quick recovery and that he receives his eyesight back. Thank you to all who have prayed so strong and hard for our Dad. Please continue to pray,” states son Tim Skaggs.
Mr. Skaggs, Sr., was diagnosed with fungal pneumonia in late February. Remember this family in prayer and send your cards and letters of get well wishes to:

CrossWay Signs with BSA

Beckie Simmons stated, "We are extremely excited to have Crossway join our talent roster. They absolutely electrify audiences everywhere they go. They appeal to Gospel Music fans of all ages, including the youth, and have strong radio appeal coupled with a strong fan base."
The agreement was signed on the heels of Crossway completing their popular CrabbJam tour alongside of the Crabb Family and the McRae's. Their radio success is also impressive. "It Looks Like Love To Me" was named Song Of The Year on the Gospel USA chart, "Unscarred" was a Top 25 hit on Inspirational Radio and “Long Arm Of Love” stayed at #2 for two months straight. Their new single, "Oh My, My" is currently at #10 on the Singing News chart.
With recent success, some may perceive that the group is new, but Crossway has been established for quite some time. Group member Paul Smith states, "Because we are young, people think that we are new, but we have actually been touring for over eight years."
Crossway performs over 130 dates annually to an overwhelming response from fans and industry insiders. They recently performed at the Mobile Civic Center with well known promoter, Frank Arnold who stated, “Crossway has a fresh sound that appeals to a broad audience. Their genuine sincerity is extremely evident in their delivery, and I highly recommend them.”
"We are so excited about being with BSA. Having someone like Beckie who believes in what you do, and shares that with others is absolutely priceless. The day after signing us, she scheduled a concert at the Renaissance Theatre in Dickson, TN specifically to see us live. It is hard work like that which leads us to believe that this transition will benefit us both," stated member Matt McFarland.
“This I Know” is available in retail stores nationwide and is distributed by Word Entertainment and New Day Christian Distributors. For more information regarding Crossway, visit http://www.crosswaynet.com or http://www.bsaworld.com
