The Cerces Win Horizon Award at BGSSA Awards

image
SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Cerces, one of the Midwest’s most popular family groups, were recently the recipients of the 2005 Horizon Group of the Year award, presented by the Branson Gospel Singers Songwriters Association (BGSSA).

The awards, which are determined by voting among Association members, were presented by the BGSSA at their annual awards ceremony on Sunday night, September 25th at the beautiful Chateau on the Lake resort in Branson, Missouri.

In other awards, new group lead singer, Andy Fauth, who has been a member of the Association for several years prior to joining The Cerces, was nominated in two other categories - Male Vocalist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Also, Cliff Cerce, group manager and baritone, received two additional nominations as well in the categories of Horizon Male Vocalist of the Year and Horizon Songwriter of the Year.

The BGSSA includes approximately 150 members and is headed by Dove Award winning songwriters DK and Sherrie Brewster who are affiliated with Gaither Publishing. Other well-known members include Gospel performers and songwriters Gary S. Paxton, Bill Burns, Randy Brooks, and Randy Plummer and the Plummer Family.

The Association now owns a one million dollar piece of choice Branson property in the area of the new theatre development in the city, where it plans to build an all-Gospel theatre within the next year. This building will be used to present Gospel performances and ministries of the Association's members, as well as of top touring groups, to the many tourists who visit Branson each year. Though now in temporary quarters, the Association will host Kevin Spencer and Friends in October.

Cliff Cerce commented, "We just joined the Association this past year, and DK and Sherrie Brewster and the other members have given us the warmest welcome imaginable. We were attracted to them because of the Brewster's commitment to provide meaningful and anointed Gospel music ministry and entertainment to the Branson area. Our ministry has already expanded in the region due to the influence and work of this fine organization. We expect to have a wonderful and profitable relationship with them for many years to come.”

Station programmer Chuck Peters says: "When I heard Mark Lowry, Michael English, Reggie Smith and Bill Gaither sing I'LL TRADE THE OLD CROSS FOR A CROWN,.. I knew I had to play this song for my listeners." Peters admits he usually stays with the songs issued as singles by the record companies and promoters,.. but he adds: "This time we are going to step out..and make a decision. After all.. maybe it should be radio and the station's audience that helps decide which songs are the best."

The song is one of two tunes performed by this all-star line up on the just released "Mark Lowry Goes To Hollywood" DVD and CD project. The group,.. laughingly referred to by Lowry as The Mark Lowry Vocal Band, also sings I BOWED ON MY KNEES AND CRIED HOLY.

Embrace Walking His Way On Sophomore National Release

image
Group Releases Follow Up to Highly Successful National Debut - After the Rain

PEARL, Miss. – Zion Music Group recording artist Embrace is pleased to announce the release of their sophomore recording for the record label, Walk His Way. The new recording comes on the heels of After the Rain, the group’s debut national release which spawned off the three hit singles “Why Not?,” “Blessed Shall You Be,” and the Top 10 hit “The Valley” (SouthernGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart).

Walk His Way was produced by critically acclaimed producer Kevin McManus. The album features new material written by some of the industry’s top songwriters including Rebecca J. Peck, Patti Hawkins, David Patillo, and many more. The album’s first single, the title cut “Walk His Way,” was written by Patti Hawkins and sent to radio earlier this summer. The song is already making strong inroads at Southern Gospel radio and was recently added to three of Southern Gospel’s leading internet radio stations – SGLive365.com, SGMRadio.com and SouthernSpinRadio.com.

Here is what just a few people are saying about Embrace:

“Every time I see or hear Embrace, I know the future of Southern Gospel is very bright. They have totally outdone themselves on this new album.”
- Deon Unthank, SouthernGospelNews.com

"This trio is extremely gifted in every aspect of music ministry. I am their biggest fan."
- Kevin McManus, Zion Music Group president

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Embrace, (Melinda, Marci and Dane) for over a year now and have been thrilled to watch their ministry grow. I feel their latest release, 'Walk His Way', shows their continuing musical maturity. I believe it is a must add to any southern gospel radio station.”
- Rob Patz, SGMRadio.com

“’Walk His Way’ was actually written on the back of our church bulletin during a baccalaureate service for high school seniors a few years ago. The thought was impressed upon me of what would be the most valuable tidbit of advice to give anyone to be successful in this life…..walk His way. I am honored that Embrace has chosen to take the message of this song forward. I have the privilege of calling them friends, and this song is almost self-defining for them, for they choose on a daily basis to walk His way.”
- Patti Hawkins, writer of “Walk His Way”

“It has been an exciting year for Poet Voices, and one of the highlights has been the opportunity to work with Embrace on the Hearts In Harmony Tour. They have been an excellent addition. The people love them and the unique sound and presentation they bring to the platform at each and every concert. The songs they do with the choirs are a highlight of the night, and Dane, Marci and Melinda are always first class in everything they do for the Kingdom. We look forward to more great times with Embrace in 2006!”
- Greg Crowe, Poet Voices

“When I heard that Melinda, Marci and Dane (Embrace) had a new recording, I couldn’t wait to hear it. This Pearl, Mississippi trio captured my heart just about a year ago when I first heard their music. This new recording continues to showcase their smooth harmony and close vocal blend. As I got to know them, I realized that harmony goes deeper than just their vocals. They are in harmony and agreement that the purpose of their music ministry is to reach others with the message of salvation and hope.”
- Sandi Duncan-Clark, SGMusicForum.com & U.S. Gospel News

Embrace can be seen touring the nation the rest of this year and will rejoin the Poet Voices for several stops on the Hearts In Harmony Tour in 2006. The group wrapped up a high profile year which included performances at the National Quartet Convention, 6th Annual Gospel Music Fan Festival, and Back Stage with Greg Crowe on the TCT Network. The group also saw their last three singles chart on several of the industry’s leading charts such as the Singing News Top 80, U.S. Gospel News Top 100, SouthernGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart, and the American Christian Music Exchange.

Allison says, "I thank our friend Danny Shelton, president of Three Angels Broadcasting Network, for thinking of this idea and pulling us all together. I’ve never seen destruction like this. Country Music Legends The Oak Ridge Boys Make Christmas Cookies

Oaks Record Christmas Classics and New Tunes to Celebrate the Holiday

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.-Sept. 22nd, 2005-Spring Hill Music recording artists The Oak Ridge Boys have completed work on a new Christmas recording, Christmas Cookies, to hit the streets at retailers everywhere on October 11th. The new release, produced by industry veteran Michael Sykes and group member Duane Allen, features several Christmas classics including "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Away in a Manger" and "O Come All Ye Faithful."

Christmas Cookies also offers newly penned material including the humorous title cut, which features the vocals of William Lee Golden, as well as a moving ballad featuring Allen entitled "Ordinary Days," a song declaring our love for others in need during this season of giving.

Another highlight of the recording is a song, penned by group member Joe Bonsall based on his own family story, entitled "Uncle Luther Made the Stuffin'," a funny yet thoughtful tune about the joys of family (and stuffin'!) at Christmastime. Bonsall originally penned the catchy number years ago, but it was never recorded until the group took an acoustic approach to this release, which allowed for a fitting rendition of this spirited melody. The Christmas Cookies CD also includes a special Oaks' cookie recipe, a personal favorite of the group members, for fans to enjoy.

Songs from Christmas Cookies will be featured on The Oaks' annual Christmas tour, which begins on Nov. 25th, and runs through December 18th. This year's Christmas Cookies Tour will hit markets including Merrillville, Ind.; Evansville, Ind.; Cedar Falls, Iowa; Danville, Ill.; Rockford, Ill.; Wichita, Kan.; Rochester, Minn.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; Grand Forks, N.D.; Orange, Texas; and Wisconsin Dells, Wis., among other cities.

The Oak Ridge Boys are partnering with their longtime friends at Feed the Children for a one-hour TV special that will begin airing mid-November until January of 2006. It will be shown on cable networks WGN, ABC Family, Court, Inspiration, BET, PAX, Spike, Discover, BFC (Black Family Channel), America One, Daystar as well as 65 independent TV stations coast to coast.

The special will showcase the group members and their families celebrating the Christmas season as they make Christmas cookies, decorate a Christmas tree, wrap gifts and make stuffin'. Part of the group's goal with this TV special and their 20-day tour will be to raise enough money to provide 100 semis of food to be distributed by Feed The Children to needy families across America.

Christmas Cookies will be distributed by Word Distribution/WEA and digitally through EMI CMG Distribution. The Oak Ridge Boys are booked by The William Morris Agency and managed by Jim Halsey, of The Jim Halsey Company. Oak Ridge Boys Sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” with Hundreds of Jeep Owners

image
"Oh, Say Can You See..." 140 Jeep® Vehicles in Giant American Flag Formation to Raise Awareness of National Anthem Project

Mount Pocono, Pa. - September 19, 2005--With broad stripes and bright stars, the largest American flag of its kind was created recently by hundreds of Jeep® owners from across the country and their red, white, blue and silver vehicles in the Pocono Mountains as part of the National Anthem Project, a national effort to re-teach Americans the words to "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Two out of three Americans don't know the words to "The Star-Spangled Banner," according to a Harris Poll survey. The giant American flag was created to celebrate "The National Anthem Project: Restoring America's Voice," a multi-year national education initiative created by the National Association for Music Education (MENC) and the Jeep brand's role as the National Presenting Sponsor. First Lady Laura Bush serves as Honorary Chairperson.

The Grammy award-winning Oak Ridge Boys, who serve as the official musical ambassadors for the National Anthem Project, led the Jeep owners in the singing of the national anthem.

The flag was created thanks to the help of 140 Jeep vehicles and their owners, representing 24 of 50 states, attending the 11th annual Camp Jeep® in the Pocono Mountains. It measured approximately 73 ft. wide by 191 ft. long and weighed nearly 226 tons. To create this unique flag, owners positioned their vehicles, alternating rows of red and white and silver Jeep vehicles to form the stripes of the flag. Blue vehicles formed the blue field with owners holding the 50 stars to complete "Old Glory."

"The gathering of Jeep owners from across the U.S., who made this American flag with pride, reinforces the Jeep brand's patriotic American heritage," said Jeff Bell, Vice President - Jeep. "The Jeep experience is about freedom. We're proud to be the National Presenting Sponsor with MENC to celebrate our national anthem and the American flag -- two of our nation's proudest symbols."

"It is important that all Americans understand the history and significance of our national anthem. We want to remind all American's to cherish our national treasures and to celebrate our unity and our values in song," said John Mahlmann, Executive Director of the MENC. "We're so pleased that Jeep is helping us in this important mission to restore America's voice."

As National Presenting Sponsor, the Jeep brand will be involved in the multi-faceted National Anthem Project initiative, including education outreach in schools across the country, special performances and alliances with professional sporting events, and an extensive tour stopping in cities nationwide to restore America's voice. The campaign aims to renew national awareness of American traditions, promote the significance and history of the national anthem, and re-teach America to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner," while spotlighting the important role of school music education in this country.

About Camp Jeep

Camp Jeep is the ultimate experience for loyal owners and the largest event of its kind. In its 11th year, the event brings together more than 1,500 Jeep vehicles and about 5,000 die-hard Jeep brand owners from across the country, August 12-14 in the Pocono Mountains for a weekend of off-road driving, lifestyle activities and entertainment. This is the first time Camp Jeep is being held in the Pocono Mountains, putting the event further north and east than ever in its history.

About the Jeep Brand

The Jeep brand's role in U.S. history began more than 60 years ago when the company supplied special transport vehicles to U.S. troops during World War II. Today, freedom, adventure, authenticity, mastery and the capability to go anywhere are the hallmarks of the Jeep brand worldwide.

The Jeep brand expansion continues with the launch of the all-new 2006 Jeep Commander - the first Jeep vehicle with three-rows of seats - joining the line-up that includes the recently launched award-winning Jeep Grand Cherokee, Liberty CRD (Common Rail Diesel) and Wrangler Unlimited.

Chrysler Group also recently announced it will build entry-level Jeep vehicles called the Patriot and Compass, available later next year in the U.S.

Jeep Trail Rated communicates the legendary Jeep capability that is designed into every Jeep 4x4. As the brand's lineup expands, Jeep branded vehicles will continue to be what they have always been -- the most capable.

Jeep Liberty and Wrangler are manufactured in Toledo, Ohio, and the all-new Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee are produced in Detroit, Mich.

Booth Brothers Debut New Album for Retail Group

image
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--September 16, 2005-Spring Hill Music Group recording artists The Booth Brothers performed this week at the Opryland Hotel for the annual Christian Product ExpoTM (CPE), a retail convention organized by The Munce Group, of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.

The Booth Brothers joined other artists, authors and comedians including Matthew West, Lisa Harper, Anita Renfroe and Dennis Swanberg for an evening of music, comedy, devotion and dinner with over 300 Munce Group store owners and representatives from across the country. The trio, made up of brothers Michael and Ronnie Booth as well as vocalist Jim Brady, performed songs from their new project The Blind Man Saw It All (Spring Hill Music), which hit the streets on August 23rd. The project captures the group's solid, signature harmony in addition to broader musical influences.

The Booth Brothers showcased material including the toe-tapper "Livin' for the Moment," the harmony-driven "Testify," as well as the debut single "He Saw It All," currently soaring up the national radio charts. Michael Booth dedicated "Eyes of Heaven" to Gordy and Heidi Hampton-Davis, of Heaven's Way Christian Books & Gift Shop, in Menomonee Falls, Wis. Booth was moved by Gordy and Heidi's personal faith journey, and he highlighted the fact that the group recorded "Eyes of Heaven" in honor of so many people who serve faithfully in various capacities but go unnoticed.

The current inspirational single "The Blood," also featured on The Blind Man Saw It All, is gaining momentum at radio stations around the nation as listeners light up the phones with enthusiasm and a new audience is introduced to the group's music.

Following the program and their visits with attending retailers, The Booth Brothers traveled to Louisville to debut the new recording at the National Quartet Convention before hitting the road for the weekend on the Gaither Homecoming Tour.

The Blind Man Saw It All is distributed by Word Distribution/WEA and digitally by EMI CMG Distribution. The group is booked by The Harper Agency. For further information, visit http://www.springhillmusic.com or http://www.boothbrothers.com

Jackie & Elaine Wilburn Receive 2005 Marvin Norcross Award

image
(Goodlettsville, TN) – Her singing career started in the late 1950's on the Farm Bureau circuit in middle Tennessee. Her dad was the county agent for Farm Bureau insurance company and she would coax her high school buddy Eddie Crook to play piano for her at all the county social events.

During their high school days they were quite a pair, she the home town beauty and he the charismatic young man who loved to drive fast hot rods! Upon graduating from Smith County high school in Carthage, Tennessee these two recipients of this year's award said "I do" and became husband and wife in May 1959. For many years they raised their three boys while being faithful to their home church. It was during this time that he accepted the call to be a minister of the gospel and was ordained. In the early 1970's, with the three boys in tow, they began to hit the local singing trail as a family. As time marched on they began to branch out singing in other states and making recordings. As the boys began to get married it was just a natural to weave the daughters-in-law into the family, the singing and the travel. In 1988 their ministry and career took a dramatic turn. On the same night, on the same stage, in the same building, these folks shared the stage with The McKameys as the McKameys recorded the monster hit single "God On The Mountain" this family recorded their first live album and it propelled them into another level of ministry. They scored their first hit single and as they say the rest is history.

Since that time they have been blessed with highly successful albums, number one songs and the opportunity to travel the nation to sing, exhort, encourage and preach the Good News. Today they are entering yet another facet of their ministry but we believe they will be just as successful on this leg of their journey as they have been on their others. To this day, they are still members of the North Carthage Missionary Baptist Church, are the proud grandparents of six beautiful and talented grand children and they are still making great music with their life long friends Eddie and Janice Crook.

Congratulations to the 2005 Marvin Norcross winners - Jackie and Elaine Wilburn.

Boyce Flener Is Back With The Crossmen

image
The Crossmen Quartet is glad to announce that Boyce Flener is BACK! As most of you know, earlier this year Boyce had surgery on his vocal cords. The surgery was a success, and after months of vocal therapy he has made a full recovery. Boyce has now performed twice with the group this past weekend after being out for seven months, and folks are saying he’s better than ever! We are so grateful to the people who have helped us during Boyce’s absence. Our thanks once again to Dennis Cook, Darren Doyle, Jason Brooks (all former Crossmen members), Stephen Barbour (formerly with the Commonwealth Quartet), Clayton Embry, and Daniel Cardwell. Without the help of these gentlemen, it would have been impossible to keep all our commitments to the good people who support us. Please continue to pray for the Crossmen that we will be able to continue our ministry in song. Thanks to everyone who has written emails, sent cards and letters, and made phone calls encouraging us to keep singing and wishing Boyce a speedy recovery. Most of all thanks to the Great Physician for His healing power and abiding spirit in our lives.

The Crossmen Quartet will be singing at the Artist Spotlight Showcase at NQC on Tuesday in the South Wing Conference Center of Freedom Hall, and on Friday at the Zion Music Showcase at The Executive Inn West in The Mary Room. We would love to see all who can attend.

God Bless,

Darren Lawrence

"It wasn't very long ago that I was sure my opportunity to sing again would never be realized. Now, I've been trusted to share the things I've come to know about God while on the run. How thrilling it is to know that all was not lost in God's eyes, and I was worth the pursuit!"

"To find a record company that shares the mission of my heart, and is willing to risk letting me share it on their platform is a real gift from God. Daywind is giving me a voice. I consider us partners in the pursuit,” stated Bishop.

Kenny has spent the past few years serving his home state of Kentucky as Executive Director of the Governor’s Mansion.

Kenny’s debut Daywind project is scheduled to release in early 2006.

SSE Group Opens Southern Spin Artist Direction

image
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Amy Marie Unthank and Chris Unthank are pleased to announce the opening of SSE Group’s fourth division – Southern Spin Artist Direction. Southern Spin Artist Direction will focus solely on consultation and management for up and coming artists in the Southern Gospel and Country Gospel markets.

“When we started Southern Spin almost three years ago, our main focus was to just provide good publicity for artists,” said Amy Marie Unthank, Executive Director of SSE Group. “However, SSE has expanded to take on more and more endeavors, and consultation has been a big part of that expansion. With the opening of Southern Spin Artist Direction, we can focus on consulting and coaching artists on certain aspects that pertain specifically to those individual artists. It will be much more about relationship building and will help the artists make that next step in their career.”

Southern Spin Artist Direction will offer four “steps” within the new division. The four “steps” include First Impression Reviews, Direct Consultation, Presentation and Concert Reviews, and Overall Reviews. Each “step” deals specifically with different aspects of the artist’s career.

“We are very excited about getting this started,” recalled Unthank. “We’ve already had so many inquiries into SSAR long before we ever opened this new division. This is definitely going to be something that is more than beneficial to the artists that we work with.”

Also, Southern Spin Artist Direction’s web page opened this week. The website will be an interactive site for both clients and other artists interested in seeking advice from the company. The site features a message board that will be frequented by industry professionals and artists on a regular basis.

Southern Spin Entertainment was divided into four divisions last February. The company became known as SSE Group and divided into the following divisions – Southern Spin Entertainment, SSE Design Group, Southern Spin Radio, and Southern Spin Artist Direction.

Southern Spin Entertainment continues to be the publicity and marketing firm which helped establish the company. This division does minor publicity and designs and organizes press kits for clients.

SSE Design Group is the division that does web publishing and internet promotions. The separation of the publicity and web publishing was to attract clients outside of the Southern Gospel genre. Glorious Creations, the web design company that Southern Spin Entertainment acquired last year will also fall under this umbrella. SSE Design Group also specializes in graphic design work.

Southern Spin Artist Direction is the new management and consultation branch.

Southern Spin Radio was also launched in February. Southern Spin Radio is an online radio station dedicated to having a strong mix of progressive, traditional, country, bluegrass, and inspirational based Southern Gospel songs in rotation.

SSE Group currently owns and operates Glorious Creations, SGBlogNews.com, GospelMusings.com, and WorldofCM.com.

Artists and clients currently under contract with SSE Group include Geron Davis & Kindred Souls, SouthernGospelNews.com, Johnny Minick, Hope’s Call, The Imperials, Steve Hurst School of Music, Stamps-Baxter School of Music, Christlike, HisSong, Crystal River, Embrace, Jonathan White, Sondra Burnett, Sunday Edition, The Pathfinders, Sharron Kay King, Three Hills Music Group, and many more.

Sunday Edition Sends Out New Single & Working on New Album

image
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, was currently in the studio recording vocals for their new single, “He Keeps Lifting,” the follow-up to the group’s first ever charting song, “This Well.” The new single will feature special guest Johnny Minick, who also wrote the song.

The single will be included on a new six song EP (extended play single) that the group is currently recording. Entitled Intermission, the new EP will feature songs written by group members Amy Marie Unthank & Chris Unthank, as well as concert favorites from the group. Intermission will be produced by Donna Beauvais and Aaron Minick, and it has a tentative release date for the late winter quarter.

“We are releasing this EP as a way of giving our fans a little bonus until we can get in and make a full length recording,” said Deon Unthank of Sunday Edition. “This is a new concept in the Southern Gospel market, and we’re excited to have something new for those who buy our products.”

“He Keeps Lifting” will be sent out to radio stations all across the country later this month and will be promoted to radio by the Rick Hendrix Company and DJ Man Promotions, the same two companies who promoted the group’s last single, “This Well.”

“This Well” became the group’s first ever charting single, coming in at #64 for two consecutive months on the Singing News Top 80 (July and August issues). The song had the distinction of the being the highest debut of any new artist in July. “This Well” also found a home on the American Christian Music Journal’s Top Southern Gospel Singles & Tracks chart at #26 and the SouthernGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart at position #24.

“We were very excited with how well ‘This Well’ did,” remarked Deon Unthank. “We realized that the song may not have appealed to everyone, so we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.”

“This Well” was the first single off of the album Dry Dusty Day…which was produced by Dale Duhl and Jimmy Tarbutton of Three Hills Music Group. The song was penned by group member Amy Marie Unthank, as well as co-written by acclaimed songwriter Rebecca J. Peck – the same writing combo that wrote the #1 song of 2004 “Even In the Valley” (recorded by the Whisnants).

MP3 downloads of “He Keeps Lifting” and “This Well” for radio stations are available upon request.

In addition to the news of a new EP and single, Sunday Edition has performed many high-profile dates this year. At the end of July, Sunday Edition performed at the Gospel Music Fan Festival in Smyrna, TN. Then, the group performed on Saturday evening of the SGM FanFair. Next week, Sunday Edition will be making their first appearance on the Artist Spotlight Showcase at the National Quartet Convention on Monday, September 12, 2005 in the South Wing Conference Center at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center.

Sunday Edition is currently partnering with SouthernGospelNews.com, Journey Records & the Mid-South Gospel Music Association for a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina victims later this fall. Details about the concert will be forthcoming.

Tommy Fairchild Joins Forces with Soul Stirring Productions

LYNCHBURG, VA—September 7, 2005—Legendary Pianist/Arranger/Producer Tommy Fairchild has entered into partnership with Soul Stirring Productions. Fairchild’s highly celebrated career spans more than five decades, during which time he earned several Grammy and Dove Awards. He has performed in 60 foreign countries, was twice inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, won the Singing News Fan Award, the Living Legend Award, and was inducted into the Piano Roll of Honor. He has played at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast, in both houses of Congress, and for the Supreme Court.

After so many years on the road, in 1989 Fairchild established himself as a hot property in the Ozarks. Fairchild recalls, “In the Eureka Springs, AR/Branson, MO area, I played six or seven days a week, but I was in my own bed every night for the first time in my professional career.” October 15, 2004 began a new chapter in this already-full book; Fairchild married lifelong friend, Sandra Blackwood Goodyear, and with this wonderful new addition, they decided in 2005 to retire to Lynchburg, VA to be near their families.

It took fewer than six weeks for Fairchild to realize that he simply was not yet ready to hang up the keys, so he and his bride plan to return to their first love—performing in churches. After meeting with Soul Stirring Productions’ two principals, Dean Haskins and Wayne Little, Fairchild was certain he had found his niche. The relatively new company, with studios in East Tennessee and Forest, VA (a suburb of Lynchburg) has already seen a fair amount of success in both audio and video production (their latest project being a video production featuring NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal); but, Haskins and Little agreed that Fairchild brings to the table a unique blend of world-class musicianship, profound experience as a music producer, and a bevy of artists who often seek his perspective and assistance on recording projects. Not only will the artists with whom he has been associated in the Midwest continue to utilize his services, this new partnership will give artists along the Eastern seaboard much greater access to Fairchild’s expertise. Haskins states, “Tommy is a legend, and it will take some time for it truly to sink in that he’s now OUR legend!”
